- Thursday, June 8th 6:00–7:30 PM: Flower Power Container Gardening Class – We are pleased to host this fun, hands-on planting seminar once again. Bring your own 12” pot and we provide the soil and plants – you’ll go home with a beautiful pot of flowers to enjoy all summer long, and you’ll pick up a few tips on successful container gardening! - Thursday, June 22nd 5:30 PM: Golfercise Wellness Workshop and Dinner – Join us for an enjoyable evening of yoga overlooking the 16th Hole with a healthful dinner afterwards. This was such a fun evening last year, I encourage you to sign up! Man, woman, golfer, or non-golfer – all are welcome! Susan Garguiolo, a Board-Certified Therapist with more than 35 years’ experience, will lead us through stretching, breathing and strengthening yoga and mental focus practices. The IJM is just around the corner – June 27-30. The Women’s Board will once again host the Hospitality Tent each morning of the tournament. Feel free to stop by and say hello to our Board members – bring a donation of baked goods or snacks for our young athletes – they really appreciate it.
We will be there Tuesday through Friday 7 am – 11 am
Many thanks to our board members who have volunteered to get up early, set up the refreshment tables and donate snacks for our competitors and their families. We look forward to once again extending our warmest EACC welcome to players and families from around the country and the world.
I am very pleased to announce that P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative will be the beneficiary of our fundraising efforts at the annual Women’s Board Charity Golf Event. “PARS for P.U.N.T., Driving the Mission Home” Saturday, August 26, 2023. Mark your calendar to participate in this fun afternoon of golf with dinner and basket raffle immediately following. We have begun planning our event and will share all the details with you very soon!
P.U.N.T. provides financial and emotional support and services to families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis – “Serving families in WNY facing pediatric cancer in the ways they need it most.” For more information on the support they offer to WNY families, please go to www.puntpediatriccancer.org
