The anticipation of wondering who would win the monetary prize for guessing the Mulligan’s first Friday golfing date is finally in. Interestingly, per Phil Kadet, this is the first time in the last 5 years that Mother Nature has been kind enough to allow us to play in the month of April.
So, drum roll please, the “winning date” was Friday, April 14!
We were also able to play on the following Friday, April 21. Strangely the temperature for both days was in the 80’s. What will Friday, April 28 bring?
So, who won? Not 1 but 2 Mulligans guessed the correct date!
Both Bob Bannister and Dan McCaffrey hit the monetary jackpot! Congratulations gentlemen, when all the Mulligans return we will be expecting a free drink.
Just a reminder it is never to late to get your postcard filled out and sent in. You can even change the postmark date if you are creative enough. The Post Card Committee is eagerly waiting to provide “Free Golf Lessons” to 3 lucky winners, so don’t procrastinate.
I know it is only May, but it is time to check your calendar and save the dates of Tuesday, June 27 through Friday, June 30, to volunteer your time to be Observers for this year’s International Junior Masters. The official sign up sheets will be posted in the Pro Shop on June 1. Who could ever turn down a “free lunch”?
