We were saddened to hear of the passing of long time Mulligan Dan McCaffrey on May 18. He was an active member of EACC and the dedicated “Buck Passer” and “Health and Welfare” representative for the group. He will truly be missed and our deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
The deadline has now long past for all the snowbirds to have sent in their postcards to lets us know of their well being over the long winter season. The postcards are now in the hands of the Post Card Committee who is reviewing and scrutinizing their authenticity. Rumor has it that the Committee can be swayed in their decision by making a small contribution to an unknown entity. We will await the announcement of the 3 winners of the “free golf lessons”. Just a thought, it was never really identified on WHO will be giving these lessons!
The International Junior Masters is quickly approaching!
Check your calendar and save the dates of Tuesday, June 27 through Friday, June 30, to volunteer your time to be Observers. The official sign up sheets will be posted in the Pro Shop on June 1. You will receive an IJM cap and a free lunch for volunteering your time.
Reminder: The starting time for Friday morning play will be 8:30 AM starting on Friday, June 9. Please plan your mornings accordingly.
