The enticement of “Free Golf Lessons” to three (3) lucky winners has definitely awakened the “snow bird” Mulligans from their sunny winter slumber. It appears that any time you mention “free” it gets your attention and the post cards come filing in. I have heard from a good source that the East Aurora Post office is having trouble handling the incoming volume.
By the time you read this newsletter the cutoff date for submitting your guess to Phil Kadet for the date of the first Friday round of golf this season with 2 foursomes will have past. The date was March 24, so if you didn’t read Jim’s prior email you missed your chance. Rumor has it that the pot is at an all time high and it will definitely help supplement your Social Security checks for the year. Just in case Phil feels sorry for some of you that didn’t submit your guess and he wants to extend the deadline, NOT! He can be reached at pkadet1@gmail.com along with a $10.00 donation. But don’t count on it!
Please continue to read Jim’s weekly emails regarding the location for the Friday lunches. He will be working closely with Eric to determine when our new Club House will be open.
I know we are all anxious and excited to see the finished product and enjoy the lunches from our new executive chef Josh Noh.
Hopefully more Mulligans have been introduced to this growing sport and have been playing pickle ball. We look forward to having you join our weekly games at the EACC courts.
The month of April starts the beginning of the snow birds return to their summer homes. We hope you enjoyed your time in the sun and make sure you travel home safely.
Remember it is all in how you look at things!
