Fall is right around the corner, but the golf season is
far from over!
The golf course is in spectacular shape, thanks to Drew Thompson and his crew. The greens are in great condition after the late August aerification; however, this should come as no surprise to any EACC member since Drew was nominated by his peers for WNYPGA Superintendent of the Year. Congratulations Drew! Your nomination was well deserved.
Thank you to Mary Kamien and the Women’s Board for all the hard work over the summer supporting the PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative. Their efforts culminated in the successful PARS for PUNT event at the end of August. Additionally, thank you to all our members who supported this very worthwhile cause.
Just because the leaves are starting to turn, the September golf calendar remains busy! The Harvest Tournament is scheduled for September 8th & 9th with Pro Day the following Saturday September 16th. Please try to support these great events. Enjoy the cooler weather and the wonderful golf conditions. Looking forward to seeing you on the course soon.
