Hello all-
Short message this month. I hope everyone has enjoyed this golf season. It has been filled with great weather, fun events, good meals and laughter all around. Thank you to the golf staff, the grounds crew, the house staff and the member coordinators of the twilight season, the 9 and 18-hole women’s leagues, the Women’s Board’s Horsin’ Around golf event, the Mulligans Friday morning outings and annual tournament and the Sunday Drivers for filling our days with enjoyable and friendly golf competition.
As mentioned last month, we are planning to hold a special member meeting on October 26 at 6pm at the club to review the latest thinking about our long-range plan. In that meeting, we will share new and existing project ideas and a suggested revised plan forward that will include recommendations, including a responsible strategy to finance the suggested plan. Following that meeting, we will ask you to complete a survey that will tell us whether you like the plan we have suggested, or you would prefer modifications that would make the plan better than we have recommended. Based upon your feedback, the Board of Directors will finalize and approve an amended five-year plan. We will share that with you in the annual member meeting in December. I hope many of you will come out to the club that evening (Wine Down Wednesday) to share your views with our planning committee.
I hope everyone will support Cross-Country Day, the Keiser Tournament and the Edward Swat events in the days of October—the last of our organized events for the year. Thanks to all of you for making the EACC experience the best in Western New York.
