It’s hard to believe that March is already here! As you will see throughout this newsletter, EACC has been a very busy place over the winter. The Clubhouse construction project continues to move rapidly and remains on schedule as of the end of February. We are extremely fortunate to be in this position, considering all the challenges and obstacles that needed to be addressed since the project began last fall. I cannot emphasize enough the extraordinary efforts of the Construction Committee, led by Bryan Smith and Dennis Woloszynski, volunteer club members and our Management Team. Thank you for sharing your valuable time and expertise to make this project a reality. Additionally, I would like to thank Jeff Rosser and Lemur Construction, who has worked closely with the Construction Team, to provide timely solutions and answers to address the many issues that we have encountered when you rebuild a one-hundred-year-old structure, all while ensuring the project continued to move forward. We anticipate the construction wrapping up on schedule and will allow time for the Staff to set up the re-opening.
Even though the Clubhouse is torn apart, our Management Team is still working hard with planning and staffing to ensure our Golf and House experience matches our new facilities. Please look for updates regarding exciting staff additions, along with housekeeping items, including locker assignments, and opening dates.
There is excitement in the air at East Aurora Country Club as the weather begins to warm and the days lengthen. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the course and at the bar for a cocktail soon!
