IJM Update
December 2023
As the year comes to a close, the IJM committee is ready to emerge from hiatus and begin planning for the 2024 edition of the
tournament. The 71st International Junior Masters will be held June 24-28, 2024. We are excited to build off of the momentum we have
established the past few years coming out of the pandemic. We have sent our thank you notes and will be holding our initial planning meeting this month.
As usual, we are looking to expand our working groups. We have received some interest from some members looking to assist us in
the player recruitment area, which is always helpful. We could definitely use some help on the Finance Committee as well. And finally, we
can always use some assistance during tournament week itself, although that is a long way away at this point.

Once again, I wanted to express my thanks to the membership and our management and staff for their support and hard work leading
up to, and especially during tournament week.
