We are now a month away from the conclusion of this year’s event. The IJM group has met to discuss
ways to improve the event for 2025 and is now on hiatus until October. During that time, we will be looking to
add to our growing ranks in order to get more people involved and perhaps spread the workload around a bit. I
once again want to express my gratitude to all of the tournament and club staff that worked so hard leading up to,
and especially during tournament week. All of that hard work does not go unnoticed by our junior participants.
The following is a sampling of some of the comments we have received via cards or email since the tournament
concluded:
`“The IJM is always my favorite event of the year and wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s
outstanding efforts.”
“During my junior golf career, it has been my favorite tournament to go to. I am very sad that this was my last
time playing. Perhaps I will volunteer next year…..”
“The event always runs so smoothly, the course was in great condition and everyone made the participants
feel welcome. I’ve really enjoyed the past two years and hope to return in 2025.”
“Thanks to you and the IJM team for hosting another great event this year. My son really enjoys this
event!”
“Thank you for the opportunity…..it was a great experience. It was a very well run tournament and
everything was fabulous—from the course, the food….all of the kids were very nice.”
“I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to play in the International Junior Masters this year. It
really helped me learn some new things and was a great experience. I hope to be invited back next year.”
As you can see, the participants are very appreciative of the opportunity and definitely notice the
hospitality provided by the tournament and club staff. But by far, they speak very highly of the members, who are
so welcoming all week long.
