March is here! The month of St. Patrick’s Day. Clocks move forward. Spring begins! Golf at EACC starts to seem possible. Hopefully we will see an on time arrival of Spring and we can be on the golf course in short order.
While we all await the arrival of Spring and the re-opening of our clubhouse, the IJM committees are moving ahead with planning for this year’s IJM. Early indications are very promising on many fronts. Applications are well ahead of where they have been in the recent past and it looks as if the field will perhaps eclipse even last year in terms of quality. Our tournament is now listed on the AJGA website and that is certainly helping us attract quality applicants. Further, word of mouth is also helping as many applicants are noting that they have had “friends play in it” and want to experience it as well.
We have also received positive responses from several of our returning sponsors and look forward to another full and exciting Ham Am on June 26.
We are also pleased to welcome Alex Brown as our Social Media Coordinator. Alex is a newer member at EACC and is the Marketplace Insights Manager at Elmhurst in Elma. We look forward to Alex helping us with our online presence over the next several months.
