Clubhouse News:
Dear Members,
As we move into the fall, we will see a few changes from the clubhouse. Hours will stay the same for now. We will reassess weekly but we will ideally continue summer hours into October. The halfway house will be open as much as possible. We appreciate your patience with the last week or so.
For the dinner menu, we have started to work with Glosser Farms, Kay’s family farm, to bring in a bit of local seasonality. Features will be a constant and you may see some permanent menu changes. The philosophy is simple and well prepared.
As for events, Wine Wednesdays will return and we are looking at adding an extra Music on the Patio. There are a few smaller events that will occupy The Trophy room or The Ballroom. These will be including in the weekly events email. These will be more detailed moving forward.
We’re also going to be implementing a reservation system to help with pacing and to make reservations easier on our end and yours. Overall, the goal for next month is to improve communication from house to membership, better predict volume and staff appropriation, increase efficiency behind the bar, and decrease time spent waiting in the dining room.
A thank you to membership, your feedback has been crucial and kind. And finally a thank you to staff, they have worked very hard this summer through a lot of uncertainty and a lot of change. It’ll only get better.
