Clubhouse News:
Dear Members,
Happy December! The clubhouse looks amazing right now; thank you to the Women’s Board for making the room feel at home and for the new light fixtures at each table. We will be open Wednesday through Saturday with a few exceptions for private events. Wednesday and Thursday will be dinner service only while Friday and Saturday will also offer lunch at 11:00am.
As we move into December and the course closes up, the menu will reflect the season and the temperature. Tom & Jerry’s, Eggnog, Irish Coffee, beef stew, chicken pot pie, bolognese, and a French Onion will all make their way to the menu. We will be offering Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, and Eggnog to go in 750ml bottles until the end of the year. You will notice new menus and a more concentrated attention to service style.
As for events:
Thursday, December 5th: The release of “Aurora 300’s Bender’s Alley Straight Bourbon Whiskey.” This event does not require a ticket. We will have bottles available for purchase as well as a few cocktails and features that accentuate the spirit. Make reservations for a table or just stop by the bar.
Saturday, December 7th: Breakfast with Santa kicks off at 10:00am. We may be able to squeeze in a few tables towards the end of service if you’re still interested in a fantastic brunch menu. We will also be open for dinner service this day.
Wednesday, December 11th: Open Mic night with the Kamien’s leading the way with some Christmas tunes to go along with Winedown Wednesday. Make reservations before they are gone.
Monday, December 23rd: The Eve of the Eve, seasonal cocktail and seasonal dishes in the holiday spirit, pick up some cocktails or wine to appease Santa.
Monday, December 30th: The Eve of the Eve 2
Tuesday, December 31st: New Years Eve this year will offer two seatings, 4pm and 6:30pm. We will offer a four course dinner to close out the year that you will not want to miss.
As always, email frank.moynihan@eastauroracc.com if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Frank
