Mother nature decided we were due for some serious snow and she delivered! Most of us felt the brunt of this with snow accumulations of up to 6 feet! Let’s hope the rest of the winter is a little more forgiving than it was on November 18 and 19.

The clubhouse has some fun events planned for the holidays this year.

  • Saturday, December 3 is our annual “Breakfast with Santa”. This traditional holiday family event typically sells out quickly and this year was no exception. There are a few 1:30pm and 2:00pm seating available for anyone who wants to join. Santa will be here from 10:00-2:00 to tell stories, sing songs, and listen to everyone’s wish list. Chef Tom and the EACC culinary department serve a gourmet brunch buffet with carving stations, shrimp cocktail, omelets to order, and much, much more! Because of the effort and work that goes into our Holiday brunch, the clubhouse will be closed for dinner on Saturday, December 3 and we will not be serving off the menu for lunch.

  • The Women’s Board is sponsoring their annual charity gift donations called “Holiday Hope Shop”. It’s important to donate to families in need this time of year and EACC can rise to this challenge. Bring gifts to donate to EACC during business hours for the “Holiday Hope Shop”.

  • Saturday, December 10 is the annual member meeting. Member’s attending will be informed of all the happenings going on at the club and any future plans. Every member is encouraged to attend.

  • Friday, December 23 is the “Eve of the Eve Member Holiday Party”. This is one of the biggest celebratory nights of the year. Chef Tom has a changing buffet available only. We have plenty of food and snacks and drink specials galore. Reservations are encouraged for this event as it’s becoming quite popular.

  • Saturday, December 31 is our New Year’s Eve dinner. We are currently working on something completely different from past years and will have information on this fun night soon.

We are fortunate to host many East Aurora community functions this year including the East Aurora Garden Club Holiday party and the East Aurora Chamber of Commerce Holiday Mixer.

There are several dates available for Holiday parties for our members. Call or email Eric to set up your next Holiday party.

The clubhouse will be completely closed to members and staff from January until the end of March. Our business office will still be available and you can contact Eric anytime through email or by calling the clubhouse phone number.

Thank you all for a terrific year and have a very Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!
