To start I’d like to put my General Manager hat on and announce that Don Cook has been promoted
to the position of EACC club Controller. Don has been our office manager for the past 2 years and has
proven himself as a great asset to the club and membership. This is a position that the club has not had in the
past and Don’s increased involvement along with the support of myself and the Treasurer will improve the
financial accountability of the entire operation. Don and Jenny Ames have made our business office
operation second to none in relation to other private clubs and we are excited to have them moving forward.
Next, I hope everyone had a great holiday and that you’re well on your way to accomplishing all
your resolutions. One of mine was to survive and thrive in 7 feet of snow so as a West Seneca resident I can
officially check that off the 2024 list. We didn’t receive quite that much at EACC but still received a good
amount. It was enough to put much of our work on the course on hold for the time being. We will be back at
it soon. There is plenty of cleanup to do after heavy winds beat us up a bit early in January.
