The Cross Country is certainly one of the most popular events we run on the calendar. As always, the field had a fantastic time. The overall champions were Matt Cleary, Ben Burton, Tom Lewis, and Tom Siejak with a score of 27. The mixed division was captured by Lori Potter, Tami Krotje, Peter Lyons, and Deb Lyons with a 30 (MOC). The gross component was won by the group of Keith Junik, Ryan Brogan, Andrew Netzel, and Coty Brawdy with an impressive 31.
The Keiser was scheduled for Saturday the 14th, but unfortunately had to be canceled due to inclement weather.
Our season ending SWAT event took place on Saturday the 21st. While the forecast showed clear and cool conditions, in typical SWAT fashion the weather turned during the final holes and rain poured down. Perfect SWAT weather! Paul O’Brien, John Kozma, and John Ulmer shot 65 in the adverse conditions to win by one.
If you haven’t picked up your golf bag and/or push cart from the cart barn, please do so as soon as possible. The cart barn serves as critical storage space over the winter and we need all available space.
Although shop credit has expired, the golf shop will be open daily from 9-5 (weather dependent) except for Mondays (12-5) through November 15th. After November 15th, the golf shop will be open limited hours which will be communicated via email.
