Hello all—As the calendar shows, we are in the final stretches of this Buffalo winter. In the last several years, we’ve had opening dates as early as March 15th, and as late as April 15th. I’m holding out for the former. That said, we are beginning preparations for another great year. The membership is full, the calendar is almost finalized, and the merchandise is beginning to show up. The one thing I’d like to point out sooner than later is that our PGA Jr. League will have the first match on April 30th. We will be sending out information surrounding this popular junior golf initiative. If you have a child or grandchild between the ages of 6 and 13 that wants to begin their journey in golf, this is the perfect platform. Once again, Kevin and Brandon will be shepherding the program. I had my son in this for several years and can’t speak highly enough about it. It’s truly awesome!
The clubhouse is shaping up nicely. It’s amazing how quickly things come together in such a short period of time. I was in there last week and it is unrecognizable in just that short period of time. We are going to really enjoy the new facility. Many thanks go out to those members and staff that have worked tirelessly to make this idea come to fruition.
Our membership numbers continue to hold high and we’ve recently begun populating our waiting list. I am anticipating another spectacular year as far as course usage and participation are concerned. Again, please have anyone interested reach out to me and I can walk them through the onboarding process. Just because they are on the wait list doesn’t mean they can’t play golf or enjoy the new clubhouse and food and beverage offerings.
