We began play at our new Pickleball facility during IJM week. Our weekly Open Play times are on Monday’s at 9am and on Thursday
afternoons after 3pm. I’d also like to add an additional scheduled time for play over the weekend. The courts are available at any time for Member play
so feel free to get a small group together and have some fun.
We have 6 new Paddles courtesy of a generous donation from John McKenna. These will be available for guests and anyone from the club
who is interested in trying PB but not quite ready to invest in a Paddle. There will also be a 5-gallon bucket at the courts with a generous supply of
balls for use.
There will be weekly updates within the EACC Weekly email with regard to upcoming Special Events in July and August such as a
Dedication Ceremony, an Open House to showcase our facility to potential new Pickleball/Social members and with a little luck our 1st Dink &
Drink event for members and guests. I’ll also continue to update our group through the email and if I don’t have it already please send me your email.
Finally, we’ve been given a wonderful new amenity to use as Members of EACC. The Grounds committee and board are still working our
way through a guest policy among other things. In the meantime, I would ask that everyone use the new courts with care and consideration as you
already do with our beautiful golf course and clubhouse. Try to wear court friendly footwear that is free from stones and other debris so as to maintain
the quality of the surface of the courts.
