This is my second stint as the club historian, as I served in this position from 2002 through 2009. I
was the Junior Masters tournament director in 2002 and was interested in researching the history of
the tournament for its 50th anniversary and becoming the club historian went hand in hand.
Previously I scanned all the entries in the three general club scrapbooks and just finished the three
books of the early years of the Men’s Invitational. This was to preserve the history in case something
ever happened to the books.
In order to keep updating the books I’ll need your help. When you attend and club function and
have any pictures or stories you want to share, you can send them to me at eacchistory@gmail.com.
Please remember to identify any people in the pictures.
I plan on sharing club history from time to time. Now for the first history quiz: who has won the
Men’s and Women’s club championship the most times and how many?
