As we enter August, our golf calendar becomes a bit less hectic. With that it also becomes a bit more
challenging for us as our summer help returns to their collegiate studies and our crew size is significantly
reduced. Our crew this year has done an exceptional job and I thank them for their hard work and their
flexibility given a demanding schedule and inconsistent schedule. As you see them, don’t hesitate to give them a
compliment for a job well done.
Coming up this month are a few things that you need to know for planning purposes. Our greens
aerification is scheduled for Monday, August 19th. As always, we plan to wrap this up quickly and get them
healed up in short order. We are also scheduled to begin tee renovations on #’s 5, 9,11 and 13 later in the month.
We appreciate your patience during these projects and will do our best to minimize golfer impact.
Lastly, a reminder to please be considerate to your maintenance crew and fellow members by replacing
divots, fixing pitch marks, raking bunkers, and returning rakes to their original spot. As we get into the late
season with a smaller crew your help is appreciated. We also ask that you obey cart directional signs and keep
your carts on paths around greens and tees. Thanks for your help in making EACC the best it can be.
