Clubhouse News:
Dear Members of East Aurora Country Club,
I am excited to introduce myself as the new
Food and Beverage Director at the EACC.
My journey with golf began in East Aurora
playing with my grandfather. I remember
shooting disappointing rounds and him
asking, “Did you break 100?” It took me years
to understand that, well, breaking 100 at
EACC is a different sort of achievement, and
more importantly, that for most, golf is about
the experience and practice, not the score.
In my experiences with bars and restaurants, I
have found that same sentiment to be true. I
create environments that inspire learning,
accountability, and community. If you can
improve on how and why you’re doing
anything, the score you want will follow. It
will take time to learn the systems, meet all of
you, and help establish this club’s goals. I
cannot do the latter without your feedback.
I look forward to meeting all of you and I’m
excited to be surrounded by a community of
people who care about what they are doing. I
will start full-time on July 21st.
