I hope this message finds you well and looking forward to the upcoming change in weather!
With the arrival of spring, golf season is just around the corner, and we can soon relish the complete EACC experience once again.
I want to express my gratitude to Raymond Zorn for graciously volunteering as the EACC club historian. If you happen to encounter Ray on the course, please take a moment to thank him for his dedication and time to our club.
I must address a correction from last month’s message regarding our new generator. Contrary to my previous statement, the generator is not a full clubhouse power source. In February, we successfully installed a backup generator designed to provide emergency power to our heating system and certain food storage facilities. This measure aims to prevent building damage and inventory losses, addressing challenges we’ve faced in recent years. I appreciate your understanding and apologize for any confusion caused by the misstatement.
In other news, we are currently in the process of interviewing candidates for the Director of Food, Beverage, and Events position. We will keep you updated on the progress.
