It is with deepest sympathy to inform you of the passing of Joe
Szczerbowski. Joe was an active EACC member who served
on the Board of Directors and numerous committees during
his 23 years with the club. Our condolences go out to Rita and
their family.
Wallenweins has been hosting the weekly Mulligan’s lunches
in January. However, there is “no place like home” and we
are anxious to continue our weekly, Friday at 12:00 PM, off
season get togethers back at EACC starting in February.
Thank you to the Women’s Board for gathering plaques, trophies
and other hardware that were stored away during the
remodeling. All of the Mulligan plaques are now in good hands
and ready for updating.
Post Cards have been slowly trickling in. We are tracking those of
you that have been to busy to send one, so get off your “better
intentions” and get those cards and letters in the mail! What
easier way to avoid that substantial monetary fine.
Even though it is only February, golf season is only a couple of
months away. So pull out your calendar and start to think about
the first Friday Mulligan’s golf date of the new season. Remember
in order to be official 2 foursomes must be teeing it up.
Hope everyone is enjoying their time in the sun and safe travels to
those just now heading to warmer destinations.
If you think it is hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong
golf ball!
