The holiday season is upon us, and we are excited to announce the date of the Grounds Holiday Open House. This year’s extravaganza will take place on Thursday, December 21st from Noon-6:00 in the golf course maintenance facility. It’s about this time that everyone is ready to start playing hooky and starting the Holiday Celebration. Might as well start it off with us. Also, it’s a freebie!! Smoking lounge opens at noon.
On a less festive note. I wanted to thank the club for their outpouring of support as we lost one of our longtime employees recently. Jeff Miller, who has been with me the entirety of my 20 years at EACC, passed November 16th and will be missed not only as a co-worker, but as a friend and part of the EACC family. Jeff had many siblings who all worked at EACC at one time or another. Their Father, Carl, was a very engaged member and was responsible for beginning the Tulip Tournament with a friend (Jay Waddles) back in the 60’s. This has become one of our 3 majors, and the family is very proud of their EACC connection.
