November is here and the golf season is coming to an end!
It has been another extremely successful golf year at EACC. We received a letter from the Women’s Golf Association of WNY thanking Drew Thompson, David Jones, Eric Kanner and their staff for hosting the Ladies Championship at the end of August. The letter boasted about the excellent condition of the golf course and the fine experience had by all the participants. Thank you to Molly Zittle for serving as our WGA WNY Representative.
Over the last two years there have been considerable improvements at the Club. The Clubhouse renovation project components were accelerated, the South Patio was completed, and all the bunkers on the course were replaced. These improvements were completed on time and at a responsible cost. Thank you to all our member volunteers during this multi-year process for helping these projects come to fruition! Our Professional Staff is in the process of reviewing the maintenance requirements of the Clubhouse, Pro Shop and Grounds Building, along with equipment needs of the respective departments. These items are being prioritized and will be presented at the December Year-end Meeting, in conjunction with an update on the Long-Range Plan.
I would like to welcome Matt Hasselback, Jay Rimes and Jayce Wallace to the 2024 EACC Board of Directors. Thank you for your willingness to donate your time and expertise to help continually improve our Club into the future!
