Dear Santa,
I have tried very hard to be a good golfer this year. I did my best to hit the ball in the intended direction, and am reasonably sure I did not break any windows or intentionally hit into my fellow golfers. I tried to be generous with praise and not get frustrated by some players difficulty with the concept of “pace of play.” I managed to resist the urge to pocket the ball of the guy who hit into me for the third time, but I must admit that I did once kick it into the rough (I’m sure you understand my lapse). And, when my husband asked for a new range finder for Christmas for the fourth (!) year in a row because his was somehow misplaced yet again, I calmly nodded my head and kept my mouth firmly closed! (I think I deserve extra points for that one!)
Given all of the above, I am sure you agreeI deserve a little special something under the tree this year. I have thought long and hard and have decided to ask for the perfect putt (lifetime edition)! We all know you “drive for show and putt for dough”, so if you could just whip up some holiday magic and leave me a lifetime of perfect putts I would be one happy golfer!
