Message from the President: April 2023

Apr 1, 2023 | Newsletter, President's Messages

We are excited to get back on the course and showcase all the improvements to the facility that have occurred over the Winter. The construction remains on schedule, and we will be open soon; however, there are a couple of finish items, specifically, doors and carpet, that will be completed by the first week of April. We are in the process of obtaining the final municipal inspections and submission of paperwork to the NYS Liquor Authority to allow for the reopening of the Clubhouse. Please be aware that until the Certificate of Occupancy is issued, along with the liquor license we cannot open.

The following are Spring housekeeping items for the month of April:

  • Due to the early Easter this year, the Clubhouse will not be open for the Annual Easter Brunch as we prepare for the reopening. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

  • The Golf Shop will be sending out information regarding the locker selection process, which will occur in mid-April. There have been several inquiries already and we would ask that you wait for this communication which should answer all questions. The locker rooms will be different with both upper and lower lockers and we appreciate cooperation with the selection process.

  • The Grounds Department is working feverishly to get the course ready for Spring play; however, this is weather dependent, please be mindful of this work as you schedule your Spring rounds.

We are extremely excited to show off everything that has been done since the Fall! We are requesting your cooperation and assistance as we prepare for the reopening. The weather will allow for playable golf days; however the locker rooms and Clubhouse will remain CLOSED, until the renovations are complete. Please do not enter the Clubhouse until it is officially reopened. Contractors will be on site to complete finish and punch list items. We do not want to slow down the completion of project. An incredible amount of time and effort has taken place, not only with the building, but also with our new staff additions. Please allow us to complete this work without interruption. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We are confident that you will not be disappointed!
